Intro.jpg - Our Fall trip took us back to Antigua. Antigua is a beautiful little island just North of Guadeloupe and just South of Anguilla. Antigua is so tiny that it could fit in Rhode Island 14 times (and it could fit in Jamaica more than 40 times). As with our last trip to this island, we stayed at the Sandals resort on Dickenson Bay -- which is in the Northwest corner of the island. We had been to this resort about seven years ago, but it has been extensively remodeled since our last visit. The resort is now twice as big, and we stayed on the newer/high-rise side. The newer part of the resort has a little bit of the same architecture of Sandals Whitehouse, and we found it to be very nice. The new rooms are very luxurious and spacious, and the grounds are beautiful. The resort was fairly quiet, but we suspect that was due to the upcoming holiday. The beaches were a lot more crowded than we remember. Most of that crowd is due to the cruise-ship people, roaming Antigua's public beaches. The weather was fantastic. We had about an hour of rain on one day, and that provided us with a wonderful rainbow. The rest of our stay was hot and sunny. Please take a peek at our pictures to share our experience!Happy holidays, and happy trails!-Mike & Hali
