| We really enjoyed our trip to Barbados last fall. We wanted to go back, but our travel calendar was rapidly filling up for the next year and a half. We saw a small window of opportunity, but it would need to be soon. And so, for the first time ever, we have gone to the same place on two consecutive trips. Also odd was the 5 month gap between vacations. So here are some pictures from our return trip to the very enjoyable resort: The Club, Barbados. We truly didn't use our cameras very much during this trip. Maybe it was because we had just completed the web page from the last trip, or maybe just needed to chill. Regardless, you know we had to break out the cameras a few times, and we have included the results from some of those photos here. We have not included any underwater photos, because our underwater rig has passed on to a better place (no, not New Smyrna Beach -- the OTHER better place). Even though we cannot back it up with photos, we did have one day of truly amazing visibility while snorkeling on the wreck. 80 to 100' visibility and just fabulous. This is pretty uncommon, and we tried to replicate it by going again at the same tide, or the same time of day, but no luck. All of our snorkeling sessions were great fun, but non matched that one spectacular trip. Of course we took many, many walks along the beach. We did some sailing and surfing, but the water sports area was down very often because of a big ramp project they had going on. Anyway, it was a wonderful time, filled with friendly smiling faces, wonderfully warm weather, and maybe a wee drop of rum. Maybe two. Happy trails everyone!
