Intro.jpg - Hali and I had a hankering to go someplace tropical right after the new year. We found the resorts to be doing a surprisingly brisk business, and it took us a while to settle on a destination. We finally decided to return to a resort we visited back in 2006. Back then, this resort (located on the Negril coast of Jamaica) was known as 'The Grand Lido'. It's name has since been demoted to the 'Breezes Grand'. We returned to this resort because we could snorkel right off the beach, and we remembered the food and drinks as being very good. The weather during our stay we very nice. We experienced one or two evening rain showers, but it was otherwise dry and mostly sunny. The cloudy days were not cold, but instead provided an enjoyable respite to the strong sun. The water was as wonderful as we remembered! This was not a 'photo trip', but we did bring a camera or two. On the pages that follow we have shared those images, along with a resort review on the final page. Enjoy, and Happy Trails! -Mike & Hali
