American White Pelicans are among the largest of the birds, they can weigh up to 30 lbs and have wing spans of up to 9 feet. The bill of this big bird can hold 3 gallons of water when they scoop fish. They let their bill point downwards so the water runs out after scooping and then point it up to swallow the fish. | 2010_03_8_Florida-10363-Web.jpg |
