A juvenile Yellow-crowned Night-Heron that we watched feeding for at least an hour. They stalk their prey by moving very slowly. This one was exhibiting a fascinating body sway: their body sways to mimic surrounding vegetation, but their beak remains perfectly still. | _MIK4972.jpg |
