Title.jpg - In November we went back to the Caribbean. That's no surprise for anyone that knows us. But this time we went someplace new -- Sandals Grenada. Although we had toyed with the idea of going to Grenada in the past, getting decent flights down there had always been a problem. In fact, we had actually been planning on going back to Sandals Whitehouse (Jamaica), but we saw some flights to Grenada that didn't look too bad so we decided to try that instead. Our flights started off on a very bad note (thank you, Jet Blue), but despite that initial travel nightmare, we had a wonderful time once we got there. The warm sunshine of Grenada was all we needed to unwind and relax. The resort is small but beautiful, and easily the most intricately landscaped of all the resorts we have visited. It is amazing how many rooms they fit into a relatively small footprint -- yet it feels so much bigger with all the winding paths and plantings. The weather was great for sailing with good wind almost every day. Although it occasionally rained (or poured), the sun came right back out and dried everything pretty quickly. The water was really warm and although we did a good amount of snorkeling the conditions were not very clear due to the wind and swell. We didn't sit down for more than 5 minutes on most days, except to eat of course. The food was really very good, and we might have even had one or two delicious drinks. We did something different for this page and we included a lot of phone pictures and GoPro pictures (because we really didn't bring out the DSLRs very often). Regardless, we hope you enjoy looking through these images as much as we enjoyed taking them. Happy trails, Mike & Hali
