We stayed in another wonderful Airbnb and although we couldn't hike between the towns we bought a rail pass and spent a day in each one of the 5 towns that make up the Cinque Terre. This shot shows the Via dell'Amore, or the Way of Love, as it winds around the cliff from Riomaggiore to Manarola. Unfortunately due to rock falls and jurisdictional disputes the Via dell'Amore has been closed for a while and the paths higher up through the hills have become over-used prompting some land owners to request they be closed as well.
