Sciacchetrà is a sweet and strong dessert wine produced in the hills of Cinque Terre. One morning we had breakfast at a tiny place in a hidden alley of Riomaggiore. When we came out we noticed a small wine maker's shop across the way. We met the wine maker and he was the nicest old guy. He didn't speak English and we didn't speak Italian, but he offered us a small taste of his personal reserve. Wow! | _JMS2471.jpg |
