2016_01_08_Montana-10141-Edit1000-2.jpg - Hershey is a Siberian Tiger. The tiger is the largest of all the cats weighing up to 670 lbs and can reach lengths of 11 ft from nose to tail. Their canine teeth can be almost 3 inches long, again, the largest of any of the cats. Solitary but social by nature they require large areas to live and roam, because of that they have lost almost 95% of their range due to habitat destruction and fragmentation. There are only 6 tiger subspecies still alive and all 6 are classified as endangered with only 3000-4000 wild tigers left. That number is dropping due to poaching and continuing habitat loss.
