Stitched from 2 images, this is a picture of the North Fork of the Flathead River on a snowy and cold January day. After we finished the final morning at the Triple D we decided to go for a drive up to Glacier National Park. How hard could that be? Head north on Route 2 and keep going until you hit the gates of the park. Unless you are me and decide to program it into Google Maps, just to be sure. Google Maps decided that the entrance was off the North Fork Road. And after driving on unpaved, un-sanded, icy narrow roads we came to the entrance... which was closed since it was the Western entrance to the park, not the main entrance. Although a fail on the part of google maps, it provided wonderful photo opportunities and a bit of nerve wracking driving for us. After all what's a road trip without a bit of adventure? | 2016_01_11_Montana-10629-Pano-Edit1000-SEP2.jpg |
