Hali and I were taking shots of Ospreys, when Hali noticed the Cedar Waxwings gorging on berries right at our feet. This was taken at the Baring division of the Mooosehorn NWR (just shy of Canada). The white dot on the eye is from my flash. I always thought birds just swallowed berries whole, but it looks like this bird enjoys licking it berries first! | _JMS0207.jpg |
