This trip is a visit to the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, in Titusville, Florida (near Cape Canaveral). We heard there was a lot of wildlife to be seen, and we thought we try the East coast this time! We *did* see some neat wildlife, but we couldn't get pictures of it all. The big miss was the panther that crossed the road in front of our car. Neat to see, but we would have loved to have gotten a picture. We saw a couple of bobcats, wild hogs, snakes, dolphins, and manatees. And lots of birds, of course. Our trip was made much more enjoyable by a little place called the Sunrise Bread Company. It's a little cappuccino shop and bakery that was open early enough for us to stop by *before* going to shoot our sunrise pics. An oasis, really. Great java, and real nice folks. Oh, and WI-FI. Civilization!!Anyway, we were up before dawn most days, and travelled all over looking for wildlife shots. This site shows you some of the shots we took while we were there. We hope you enjoy them!Best,-Mike & Hali
