| To my family,These are some old images (from various sources) that I have scanned. I have done my best to clean up the images, because I realize that this effort will never be made again. I will continue to update this page as more images become available. Please be patient. Digital restoration is very time consuming (although it can be very rewarding). Some of the images display a checkered pattern because of the paper used for the print. I have used special software to reduce this effect, but it's use can over-"soften" an image. I make trade-offs using only my judgment; such as it is. In some cases I have left images with faint sepia tint that reflects the true condition of the image when scanned (again I have used my judgment). It is a simple matter for me to remove *all* color, and make an image truly black and white. Please let me know if you would like this done for any of the images that have color or tint. MOST OF ALL, PLEASE LET ME KNOW OF ANY NAME ERRORS! If anything was written on any of the prints, I have included that information in the image comments.
