2010_01_18_SandalsGrandeStLucian_PanoWeb.jpg - This is a panoramic view of Rodney Bay, Gros Islet, St. Lucia.Rodney Bay is home to some of the most exquisite boats I have ever seen, Catamarans and Monohulls, at least one huge Yacht we saw goes back and forth across the Atlantic at least 2 twice a year, in under 26 days, on sail power. It was lots of fun sailing the little Hobie Waves in the bay but it could be a little nerve wracking with all the large boats around (for which reason most of the cleats were disabled on the Hobies preventing you from sailing close to the wind and potentially flipping the Hobie into a multi-million dollar yacht, thankfully we brought our sailing gloves and muscles so we hauled sail anyhow)
