A Greater Antillean Grackle searching for a snack on a beach-front tree. We were lucky enough to see two separate courtship dances. The male keeps his head low and thrusts his tail feathers up high. His tail feathers and wings fan out while he hops up and down making short chirps. The female just continues whatever she was doing before :-) |
