Intro.jpg - Someone was having a significant birthday around the same time that we were planning a vacation, so we decided to take a 2 week trip to Sandals Whitehouse. About 10 years ago we had a similar trip, in a similar place (what was known as Beaches Grand Sport, back then). We had two couples joining us, which had made that a very festive trip. Without any planning at all, one of those couples just happened to be at Whitehouse for this trip -- an amazing coincidence! This was a typical tropical vacation for us -- which means a lot of fun activities! People ask if we get bored just sitting on the beach all day, but we really don't sit that much. Let's talk about an actual one-day example. We rise just before the sun and do our daily crunches (250). The water looks glassy, so we go for a fantastic water ski. It was so nice that we go back for another pull. Then we head back and swim our laps for the day. Then breakfast, and then tennis lessons. Then we take the Hobie out for a sail. Then we play some beach volleyball. After a late lunch we do some paddle boarding. Then more beach volleyball. Then some sunset photography by the water, and then a delightful dinner. There's not much resting, it's anything but boring! As always, we took some pictures along the way. We've put them on this website for our own future reference, and to share them with friends. We hope you like the pictures, and that maybe next time you'll come with us! Happy trails, -Mike + Hali
