_JMS0412.jpg - The Pronghorn Antelope (AKA Prong Buck) is the fastest land mammal in the Western Hemisphere. We watched one male chasing another at full speed, and they are F-A-S-T! They are so much faster than any living predator that it has been speculated that the Pronghorn speed evolved to evade predators that have since become extinct. They can run 55 mph!
