| This aggressive hunter is a Sharptail Eel. These eels are often seen hunting crabs during the day -- which is exactly what we witnessed. It would slither along the bottom until it found something tasty -- usual under a rock or a piece or coral. When it latched onto some helpless critter, it's entire body would writhe in the attempt to drag the meal from it's den of false safety. It was a very successful hunter! | 2011_01_21_BreezesGrand-10116-Edit750.jpg |
