Some people at the resort mentioned that they saw turtles hatching down the beach. We grabbed our cameras to see if any were still around. The last straggler was just coming out of the sand -- covered in sandy yolk and mostly unable to see. It's unusual for the turtles to hatch during the day, because it decreases their chances for survival. | _JMS0192A.jpg |
