We saw this Man-O-War in one of the tide pools on Scout Key. As pretty and colorful as they are they are very venomous. In some places even one washed up on the beach is enough for the entire beach to be closed. They are not truly jellyfish but rather 4 different colonial organisms living together so closely they can not be separated and survive. The "gas bag" is made up of separate types of polyps, the tentacles are a different type, as are those that digest the food caught by the tentacles.
