Great White Heron's are, depending on whom you talk with, either a seperate species or the White Morph of the Great Blue Heron. Certainly they share many of the characteristics of the Great Blues- they have a much heavier bill than the Great Egret and the legs are yellow like the Great Blue whereas those of the Great Egret are black.
