The Amur leopard used to roam throughout northeastern China, southeastern Russia and throughout the Korean Peninsula. Today the biggest population is found in a small area in Russia along the Russian-Chinese border -- an area less than 1,900 square miles. Smaller numbers of Amurs have been found in adjacent China. The last known Amur leopard in South Korea was in 1969, when one was captured. | 2016_01_11_Montana-10237-Edit1000.jpg |
