INTRO.jpg - This year we wanted to try a totally new Caribbean vacation, so we went to a little known resort in St Lucia called "Rendezvous". This adults-only resort is located right next to the Northern airport in Castries (Vigie airport). The beach was wonderful, as was the weather and the hospitality. The all-inclusive resort featured some of our favorite things -- including yummy frozen drinks brought right to our beach chairs! We were a little unsure about this trip, since we did not have any first-hand recommendations. However, the resort turned out to be excellent! The resort is a little aged (maybe 40 years old), but it's very well maintained. The staff was wonderful, and the grounds were very pleasant. The weather was a little cloudy for the first couple of days and very sunny after that. We had some plans to venture out into the island and take some tours (rain forest tour, etc), but there was so much fun to be had at the resort that we never left! :-)We didn't take any shots of ourselves in the beach chairs, but we really didn't spent too much time sitting down -- a couple of hours here and there. We walked the beach. We went water skiing. We sailed the Hobie's (getting up on one pontoon several times). We went windsurfing. We played beach volleyball, and various other beach games. We felt like kids on summer vacation! We're happy to share some of our pictures from this trip with you. We hope that you enjoy the pictures!Happy trails!-Mike & Hali
