We were searching about for tree frogs ( Lesser Antillean Whistling Frogs), when we found this one inside the shoot apex of a plant. We suspect it went down there for some water, but found itself a bit trapped when we happened by and started taking pictures. The only way out was to go closer to us, and that did not seem like a good option to the poor little thing. I'm actually standing over the plant and shooting straight down for this shot. If you look closely, you can see a bit of the leaf reflected in the frog's pupil. | _MIK0365_2.jpg |
