This was one of the few clear sunrises, the days after this the valleys were filled with smoke from a growing wildfire. The weather was unseasonably warm and exceptionally dry, great for fires, not so good for us. At it's peak the fire consumed 5,510 acres before the weather finally turned cooler and wetter, by the time we left it was about 20% contained.
