| This yearling was browsing for Calcium salt licks in the depot for the logging road with her mother a short distance away. It is unusual for cows to stay with their yearling calves but the cow did not have a calf this year. The two were very nervous and bolted when people couldn't restrain themselves to staying in their cars and jumped out to walk towards them to try and take pictures instead of slowly coasting closer. | 2009_07_02_Maine-484-Edit-Edit.jpg |
