Blue Hole is an abandoned rock quarry on Big Pine Key and is part of the National Key Deer Refuge. It is home to a pair of 'gators and many birds and fish. It is unusual in that it is mostly fresh water. We saw an osprey sitting on a tree there as well, apparently the fishing is good for all sorts of wildlife. | 2013_03_12_FloridaKeys-10029-Edit800.jpg |
