  2009_10_01_Hawaii-10001_2.jpg - I loved these big boulders in the shallow protected breakwater area in front of the hotel. There was only about 4 inches of water and in stark contrast to the heavy surf outside the water here was just a gentle lapping with the occasional small wave as a wave made it around the breakwater. I'm sure it wasn't good for my tripod no matter how well I rinsed it after, but it was hard to resist getting my feet wet for dawn. Mike was still sleeping!
